Makeup Artistry
& Skin Care
Makeup Artists use makeup as their medium; and a person's skin as their canvas. They are beauticians that apply makeup with a variety of techniques applicable to the end-results purpose, whether it be:
-
Special Occasions like Weddings, Red Carpet Events, Etc.
-
TV/Broadcast High-Definition Application
-
Movie/Film Special Effects and Prosthetics Use
-
Airbrush for Digital Photography
-
Theatrical Productions
-
Fashion Runways
-
Print Magazines
-
& so much more!
Makeup artists can make their clients look flawless and fabulous for their photoshoots; or gruesome and bloody for their movie production. They play an essential role in sealing the overall look for the occasion.
But it's not just about glitz, glamour, and blood. Some makeup artists also work with techniques like camouflage makeup - think tattoo covers, burn or scar work, and hyperpigmentation blending.
Makeup artists that take the time to get the proper education and obtain specialized training can help build confidence in people. Educated makeup artists can work on the girl next door or people with severe skin conditions by showing them how to enhance their natural beauty with a makeup brush.
There are many possibilities for a creative line of work, and the service industry is just one nugget of the beauty world. Makeup artists are in the entertainment industry, blogging/vlogging, education, product launches, marketing, advertising, and in the faces of entrepreneurs worldwide -- advocating and creating the future of makeup.

Our Makeup Artistry Program is a dual program with combined training in the thriving industries of both makeup artistry and skincare.
