The mission of the Cortiva Institute is to provide high-quality, comprehensive training programs that prepare graduates for successful careers in massage therapy, skin care, and related health and wellness fields.

Rich is dedicated to helping his clients enhance their optimum health and performance. He brings this passion to education, helping his students develop the same attention to their clients’ well-being.

  • Olympic Sports Massage Team, 2002, 2004, 2012, 2016
  • Former Sports Massage Co-Director, Connecticut Chapter, American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA)
  • Former Coordinator, Massage Emergency Response Team (MERT), Connecticut Chapter, AMTA
  • Deployed to Ground Zero following 9/11 with MERT, Connecticut Chapter, AMTA
  • AMTA National Sports Team Member of the Year, 2010

Sandy believes that massage therapy is beneficial to the healing process on many levels. She loves teaching because it allows her to support students’ personal growth and education. Her passion grows as she observes the direct link between wellness and the intention of the heart-hand connection.
